Synoh's Public Archive

Show mature content

A collection of all works I've done, finished as well as unfinished ones, also sketches, animations and traditional stuff and even assets. Some of them will be put in a "timeline" of sort, if I have something to say about a specific piece. All artworks are also uploaded on Google Drive for downloading the .png and/or .jpg exports. Some finished artworks after 2020 even have layered .psd exports. The only works that are not contained in this archive are traced works from around 2014, private commissions and everything I've lost due to my own poor management or data corruption. If I ever come across some of my lost drawings, I’ll add them to this archive too.
Probably a good time to beg anyone who draws to never throw any drawing away, no matter how you feel about them. Trust me, you'll eventually treasure them, or at the very least you can use them for some serious confidence boost, once you've improved.
I'd also love to make ALL .clip/.psd files available here, but that would sadly clog up the 15 GB of cloud storage available to me pretty fast.       :(

Notes

  • This archive will be updated yearly, around the end of January.

  • To save on bandwidth, artworks are shown in a much lower quality here. The actual downloaded files are much higher in quality.

  • Artworks before 2019 are likely several days –if not weeks– older than the filename implies, as I only started a date based naming scheme mid-2018.

  • The date for those files is based on the “Modified” attribute, as the “Created” date showcases a wrong date due to hardware changes since the actual creation. I sadly do not know how to fix this without shady third-party software.

  • Dates on traditional artworks are still mostly guessed, even after 2019.

  • Exceptions are made for holiday celebration artworks, which will always be given the holiday date. For example: major Christmas artworks will always be YYYY-12-24, regardless of when the artwork was actually started.

  • The .psd files may look different than the .png or .jpg files, depending on the program you opened it with. The .clip files are saved to .psd, as .psd has a wider range of compatibility with different programs.

  • The .psd files are also slightly edited to accommodate typical compatibility issues, such as layers clipped to groups/folders.

  • Most groups/folders and some layers are named to make the structure easier to understand, as I usually don’t do that in my normal workflow. Most layers will still be named something like “Layer 1”, “Layer 2”, “Layer 3 Copy 2” and so on.

  • I don’t usually clean the files up by removing hidden layers, as I believe the experimentation or simply other depictions that were considered at some point, could be interesting to see in some cases.

  • ICC profiles are not embedded onto the documents, so visual changes may also come from the color profile your program is using.

Unimportant author rambling

The reason I made this archive is, for one, that preservation is extremely important to me and I appreciate transparency, I also hope that it's encouraging to others that are interested in art. It's easy to see the newest stuff an artist posts and get the impression that they've always had this level of skill, without seeing the past works that led to it. I don’t want to be allowed to just hide that too. Many of those pieces I did don’t need to exist anymore, but they are the reason for my current skill. There were several artists whose work I admired, but they actively hid and belittled their past work because of “how shit they look”. Those “shit looking” works were often way better than whatever I managed to do at that time. It essentially just told me to stop being proud of what I’m currently capable of. It was so incredibly disheartening.I don’t know how justified I am in pretending that someone would look up to me, or at least be inspired by my work, but I don’t want to risk giving other aspiring artists the same feeling of discouragement.

2023

There has been a noticeable increase in productivity this year compared to the years prior.Generally I became a lot more happy with my art and style. I also got more confident and fully went with this 1-2 layer workflow now, that I've tried every now and then but never really committed to. Now things like hair, skin and clothes aren't colored in their own separate layer, everything is now done from start with a single one.The actual working on a potential webcomic also started to get into gear, with the actual making of character sheets and a lot more focused drawings instead of "Nah, I just feel like it.".I also started to draw more fanart, especially of Vtubers whose streams have strongly helped me get more productive and motivated.

I had an idea to change some aspects about Ader. Namely giving her her white hair back and adding those VERY thick outlines to her pupils. Her feather halo was also replaced with a long black veil.

2023-01-17

'Initium' is latin for 'Beginning'. It was a pretty fitting name for the metal that started it all, especially with the coincidental "-ium" ending.Sadly I don't have a master in chemistry, neither do I know anyone who does, so theorizing about how certain things could theoretically work out is a bit hard. But I'd still like to make certain aspects about the Adoris' Theory series as "grounded" as possible.

2023-01-20

A picture that depicts a pretty drastic event in Asier's past.It was planned to be used as her character artwork for the profiles I was working on, but eventually decided on a different composition.

2023-03-27

Sometimes it surprises me how fast a drawing like this can be done.
This artwork took me only 2 hours to make and I genuinely don't know how.

2023-04-05

A sort of cover image for a different story, set in the same universe as Adoris' Theory. It would be called "Aasgeist".The cover was never finished tho. After going back to it, I realizing how close it reminded me to the Metro Exodus game cover.

Full character profile for Fer.This is work I've procrastinated for a long, long time. I wanted to create character sheets for all three protagonists and release them at the same time. Usually I only got one or two done, before my attention diverged to something else. Her design is inspired by the Viking Age.
She has many layers of thick clothing to reinforce her tank'ish role, as well as make her appear more like the main fighter of the group. Despite this, she doesn't wear heavy armor pieces, as her fighting style is relying on agility and her light shield abilities. She also has several pieces of fur and fur-trimmed clothing to compliment her wild, bold and hotheaded personality.
All three designs are also made to support the "Everlasting Winter" setting of the story. The background is modified from a photograph. Thanks Rohit Tandon for taking it and making it available!

2023-04-15-2

Full character profile for Cole.
His design is more modern to contrast the viking inspired designs of Asier and Fer, also to showcase the difference in eras between them.
The goal of his design is to strengthen his role as the group's thinker and most level-headed person.
The background is modified from a photograph. A thanks to Hoshino Ai who took it and made it available!

2023-04-15-3

Full character profile for Asier.Just like Fer, her design is also inspired by the Viking Age. Obviously, since they come from the same place. She doesn't have many accessories and her clothes are more loose, to bring her easygoing and lax nature more across. The goat plushy she cherishes and carries around was given to her by Cole, it should showcase a caring side of her.The background is modified from a photograph. Thank you Bence Balla-Schottner for taking and making it available!

2023-04-16

A rework of the Adoris' Theory Banner that was made two years prior. The character designs of Fer and Asier have changed since the original, so I thought I should just redo it.

I was looking more into good Websites where I could potentially upload my webcomics once I actually made them.
Tapas was an option I got recommended to me, so I logged back in (After I made an account 5 years ago) and registered the webcomic entry.
They required a banner, cover, and thumbnail. I already had the banner, so I made the cover illustration. Next thing would be a new thumbnail.Who knows, maybe I'll also make it available on self published website in addition, if the TOS allow it.

Fanart of Ina from Hololive.I wanted to do some fanart of her for a while, more as a way to show my appreciation for her. Ina with her streams managed to inspire me to draw way more.Throughout 2020 to 2022 I've done very little in terms of drawing. It's mostly thanks to her, as well as Calli, that I got the energy to do more. I'm very thankful for this.I made fanart of Calli just a few days later too, for pretty much the same reason.

2023-05-16

Larissa, but in a gym.
It was just a sketch for a few months before starting to finish it, since I wanted to make the Calli fanart first.
The background is modified from a 3D render made by murattellioglu.
I still had my Adobe license then, so might as well make use of Adobe Stock assets before canceling my subscription for good.     :´)

2023-05-17

Fanart of Calli from Hololive.Just like with Ina's fanart, this was to showcase the appreciation I had for Calli. Her motivational speeches she had in several streams always helped me to be more productive and adopt the mentality of "Please do something". I very much appreciate this. This picture also replaced the UN-chan meme from several years ago as my "most liked tweet ever". I'm honestly pretty happy about this, especially that it happened with Calli fanart.     :)The skulls were traced from a 3D model made by soidev.

Artwork for Ina's Birthday!
:)
It wasn't actually my intention to make the original fanart for her so close to her actual birthday. Just one week prior in fact.I know it's probably a bit weird after saying how much I appreciate her streams, but her birthday actually kinda flew over my head until the official Twitter hashtag popped up in the trending section. Right after finding out about that, I started this artwork, hoping that it will be finished before midnight in Japanese time. ...I didn't make it by 1 1/2 hours.
   :(

2023-05-31

It was too hot to have a good nights sleep, so I just stayed awake, drew and made Melissa feel my pain.
:(
...I'm sorry.     :(

2023-06-08

In a prior stream PapaTutuWawa, a friend of mine asked me to put glasses on Larissa, who I was drawing at that time.
I normally tease him regularly because of his glasses fetish, but I actually liked the looks of that, so I made a dedicated drawing for this.
Kinda liked how the artwork turned out and thought to use the a non-glasses version of it as a profile picture on some sites.
That's why I also changed it up a bit by giving her a slight smile.     :)

2023-06-20

A milestone celebration artwork for reaching 100 followers on Twitter.
I'm very thankful for this!     :´)

2023-06-22

Alternate celebration artwork that's lewder.

2023-06-25

Calli revealed her full character sheet in which we, for the first time ever, saw her with her hood up. To the surprise of a lot of people, her coat is, in fact, a hood. There's even official art that got it wrong so really can't blame anyone.Still, it looked cool so I made this fanart.... With a lot more teeth than in actuality tho.Seeing her hooded wasn't actually such a surprise. Ever since first seeing her character design, with the teeth around her shoulders, it made me think of Ultimate Spiderman's version of Venom. Eddie in some panels also wore the suit with his head showing, surrounded by teeth. Pretty much exactly like it's drawn here.
Never have I seen anyone else make this comparison.

The few quick sketches for a test stream on Kick. Kick was a pretty nice experience, got a lot more engagement than I ever had on Twitch, so I might just continue on Kick instead.I may say "quick" but I still spend several hours on it.

2023-07-01

Fanart for the end of Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. While I'm quite pleased that we did got a happy ending, it still feels like this series REALLY needed another 12 episodes at least, to really make the ending feel earned.
When the first part finished, I honestly expected the next course to be some sort of "Suletta warlord" arc, but no, they rushed the rest of the series really fast sadly.
...Prospera didn't deserve her happy ending tho.

2023-07-21

Another birthday artwork for Melissa and Larissa, after skipping it for the past two years. It's supposed to look like a photograph.

2023-10-02

Sketches of Fer, so I have some references for the placement of her scars.

2023-10-18

An illustration I wanted to make after doing some sketches of her a few weeks prior.Unlike those sketches, there is no practical reason why I drew this. I just had the wish to draw Fer's butt.     :)

2023-10-13

An artwork for the "unlucky day" Friday the 13th.This artwork was also streamed on Twitch again, instead of kick.

2023-10-31

Quick work for Halloween. There were some commissions that I wanted to be finished before the end of October, so I got to work on this a bit late. :(

2023-11-25

There was a meme going around, to make crossovers between the game 'The coffin of Andy and Laylay' and other franchises. I did one with 'Oshi no Ko' as, to my own surprise, I've never seen one made.

2023-11-27

PewDiePie released his video "Teaching myself to draw for no reason" in which he showcased, how much he improved his drawing skills, just by training it for 10 minutes a day for a full month.
It inspired me to take one of my older works from like 5 years ago and remake it with my 2023 skills.
Honestly, making this made me feel very good about myself.
Also a good opportunity to say this: Please, I beg you, NEVER throw away your old art pieces! Once you improve and look back at them, they will give you a VERY strong pride boost.

2023-12-02

Fanart for Rev Says Desu and Darlingstrawb. They had their marriage and I wanted to draw something for this moment, as I was watching Rev's content every now and then.

2023-12-19

I've had a lot of fun designing websites, so I wanted to create a website dedicated to Adoris' Theory. There were several assets I created just for that website, with this being one of them.

2023

2022

This year was extremely meager in content. The first few months were mostly spend on buying components and building a new PC, replacing my decade old pre-build Aldi computer. There were however a few issues that came with it, that unfortunately postponed my work on digital art
It was a great way to go back to drawing traditionally, at least for a bit until I was able to actually use my PC.
But until that problem was actually resolved I had exams to worry about.     :(But even with those circumstances, I got basically nothing done this year.
My motivation was at an all time low.

The last drawing that would be done on my older PC.This was also another attempt at utilizing only 1-2 layers, with a result that I'm actually happy with!      :)

2022-01-20

After receiving all the parts for my new PC and building it together, I noticed that the cables of my SFX power supply were actually too short for my (admittedly very borderline) ITX case by like two centimeters, so I had to get replacement or extension cables.
My small local PC store didn't actually had that so I needed to wait extra for it to ship, before I can continue building.
The time was spend sketching on my tablet. A few were made before the cables actually arrived.

2022-01-28

First drawing on my new computer.     c:I also stopped calling these drawings "sketches", "doodles" or "colored sketches". This was more of a habit after changing my style to implement the sketch into the final artwork. Since they were increasingly detailed, calling them just a "sketch" felt a bit disrespectful to other artists.I remember artists who posted the most beautiful and detailed work imaginable and just straight up called it "small sketch". It was a meme more than anything else, but since I still used them unironically I stopped adding those tags.

2022-01-31

Aaaand the last drawing I'd do on my new computer ....for a while at least.    :cTurns out, I wasn't done with issues. The computer started to randomly get over current protection to kick in on boot, even with nothing plugged in and otherwise no visible flaws to my assessment.Eventually I had to RMA my motherboard and was again left with no computer for a weeks or so.....So I had no desktop PC anymore. I though this would be resolved relatively fast so I didn't went and got my old PC back running. "Why reinstall my GPU back into it, plug everything in and reinstall all my software, if I have to unto all that in like a week anyway?" I thought.
Yeah, I had to reuse my GTX980.    :(

2022-02-08

Aaaand to make things even harder, the manufacturer confirmed that the product was faulty, but that the defect must have been my fault somehow. Thanks MSI. They wouldn't replace it, nor would they even partially refund it.
I had a non-functional PC and a surprise loss of 300€.
...So off to more traditional art.     :)At that point, I plugged in my old pre-build computer since it would take a lot longer than I could have originally anticipated. I didn't used it for digital art tho, as I already uninstalled everything and was afraid that Clip Studio would complain about me using my license for so many new installs.I wanted to test out Krita as a quick alternative, but I didn't really liked using it. Not because the program itself was bad, it is honestly an amazing piece of software (You can check out David Revoy to see just how capable it is.), but because I was essentially forced to use temporarily alternatives due to circumstances I wanted to be quickly over with.Doing traditional art didn't leave such a bitter taste in my mouth, so I just continued with that instead.

2022-04-01

It's over. My PC is fully assembled and actually working now. While I did draw this attempt at a steampunk background, I didn't actually wanted to draw right after finishing my PC to be honest. The headache of things not working out as they should and the several heart attacks of accidentally tearing the CPU out of the flimsy AM4 socket, when you take out the heat sink (Seriously, I'm so glad AMD went with a LGA socket now), I wanted to spend the first few days just consuming videogames with a shut-off brain.
All I wanted to do was install a bunch of mods for Skyrim that my old PC couldn't handle and forget everything else for a while, which sadly didn't worked out as planned since exam period was coming up.

2022-07-21

This was supposed to be their birthday artwork for 2022, but it never went further than this. I don't know, I just didn't wanted to continue it somehow. This makes it two years in a row, where I just skipped Larissa and Melissa's birthday. This fear I had about "Annoying people by speaking about my own characters" from last year didn't magically disappear.
Every year I would rummage through several imageboards, trying to find other artists that do this "birthday artwork" yearly too. I was basically searching for affirmation.
My mind would constantly be filled with different wordings and phrasings of "How dare I, be this arrogant to believe that people would care? Who am I, to waste other people's time with my made-up things? People have it hard, and I live in a fantasy world.".

2022-07-23

I was working on a commission info sheet and needed to give a visual example, of what counts as "Head shot", "Half body" and "Full body" for the different pricing.

2022-08-29

A small animation to be put in the corner of my streams. That's also my first time actually doing something with Live2D.My interest in streaming peaked again around this time. I hoped that doing that could motivate me to draw much more, since my uploading schedule has essentially been on-pause since the beginning of this year.I had a severe lack of motivation and I wasn't sure where it actually came from. The stress from the PC building dilemma during the first quarter has long been water under the bridge, and the exam stress that directly followed it was also over and done with. Maybe my contempt for my own art just had more than enough time to actually settle or it's simply burnout.Either way, I wouldn't start streaming, despite having everything prepared and the rest of the year would end up as unproductive as it's already been so far.

2022-10-01

I was challenged to make something in MS Paint.Unironically, it actually worked out pretty well. Using MS Paint was actually kinda fun, would use it sometimes just out of fun, only if its going to get a dark theme tho. Looking at a white UI for multiple hours is just so goddamn painful.
I have no idea how some people can still use Paint Tool SAI, as it doesn't have a dark theme UI to this day, as far as I know.
Also: Honestly, if you create something in MS Paint, it's basically a requirement to include the toolbar in the screenshot.
It's just part of the overall aesthetics.

2022-10-29

The original character sprite for Fer.
It was eventually changed since I wasn't really happy with how little this sprite showed her personality.

2022

2021

During this year I experimented more with my art style and tried to implement the sketches into the final picture. The thought of essentially "throwing away" the sketch never sat right with me, as it would never be visible in the finished artwork. So at some point I simply thought "...Then just don't."
At the end of every colored sketch, I would put every layer into a single one, add details onto that layer and blend the lineart/sketch with the colors. I would essentially finish the drawing with just a single layer.
While I still wasn't fully happy with it – It still felt "unconfident", since I still colored and shaded every aspect in their own layer independently, and just merged everything into one eventually – the actual process of drawing at least felt a lot more enjoyable to me, so I wanted to continue and develop this stlye.

The way I drew eyes felt kind of boring, so I experimenting a bit with how to draw eyes.An artist who greatly inspired this was Hoshizaki Reita. They regularly uploaded art with a sole focus on eyes, they looked very appealing to me. This artist generally does amazing artworks, so I recommend checking out their Pixiv.

A character concept for an "anti-littering animation" school project.
Full character sheets were supposed to be made, but that assignment was just abandoned mid-way, as we didn't had much more time left for the school year and our teacher wanted us to at least get the actual animation done.
There's an alternative version of this concept art, because my teacher told me that the original design was "too sexy" and that it should be dialed down.

2021-06-09-2

Graduation commemoration piece for Coco from Hololive.
I loved her streams and out of all Hololive Japan streamers, hers were the ones I probably watched the most.
Her graduation was made public during school hours. I instantly got to work on this once I was home. It kinda surprised me how fast this got finished, even tho I'd still wish there was no need for this in the first place.     :´(...And yes, I'm aware of the writing error.     :(      So there's a version without text. No text, no writing mistake.     :)

I noticed that I never actually stated their name until this. Something made me feel reluctant to share information like that.
I don't know how to describe it, but it felt priggish or self congratulatory? I think I was afraid, that sharing much information about my characters would be seen as annoying.

Speaking about annoying:
This picture was used as my profile picture on my Twitter and due to several annoying TechBros throwing their NFTs around, I made some changes to it.
Twitter had the bright idea to make NFT profile pictures hexagonal. I made a joke about it by turning my profile picture into a heptagon shape. My profile picture has more edges, therefore it must be even cooler.
Another change they introduced was the subscription stuff. They got rid of "officially approved" verification in favor of "Money approved" verification. Just pay up and you get the seal of approval. Since it's that meaningless now, I just gave myself the verification symbol.
...I didn't even had to pay money for it and it's still as informative as the real thing.

2021-07-06

I was testing around a few alternatives to Clip Studio on android, since my free trial has expired.
Sadly there was nothing on android that's on the same level as Clip Studio or Procreate.
Eventually I decided to use the app 'sketchbook' for the time being.

2021-07-26

That should be the seventh attempt at a "banner artwork"?
At least there was finally something, that I wasn't too afraid to share around.
The Font got replaced again for the title too. It's now a modified version of 'Cinzel'. I also replaced the "initium ore" with a much less detailed one. The original took too much focus away.
At the very least I'm happy with the logo now! The original 'Adoris' Theory' logo started to look weirdly vertically compressed somehow.

2021-08-02

The last redesign that Fer will get.
This time for real.
The Norse mythology inspiration for her and Asier's homeworld got so great, that it's actually just the viking age now.

2021-08-16

Larissa also gets her character card.     :)For the background I used a Brunswick star, which is a commonly used symbol for German police forces. Since Larissa's design is based on a German Shepherd Dog, the most popular breed of dogs for K-9, it was just fitting.

2021-10-18-2

Around this time, I started to get the idea of having my own website and I wanted an animated background for it.
It would take a lot of time however, before this drawing got animated, as I had absolutely no experience with Live2D before that.
Even non-animated, it was still plastered everywhere. It was basically the default picture for all my profile headers, that didn't had their specific artwork already.

2021-10-18-2

Profile image of a barbarian character I made for a DnD session. Her name's 'Fircone', a feral girl raised in ice cold northern lands by wolfs since a very young age. A wanderer found her badly injured at the root collar of a fir tree, half buried by snow and surrounded by cones. This encounter would lead her to engage more with civilization. My party members liked to joke about the fact, that they apparently had Tazan in their crew. I wish I was able to flesh this character out more during our campaign, but it sadly was left after the first session.

2021-12-14

'Crownewal', a different story I had a vague concept of.It would obviously take a lot of time before this story can be told, but I still wanted to get at least the title and the "Neapel" logo out there.

2021-12-25

The "crown" kinda reminds me a lot of the statue of liberty. This wasn't actually my intention but it fits pretty well.

2021

2020

So, a pandemic happened.     :(Generally, 2020 was a pretty bad year (Yeah I know, be careful with all these coldest of takes being thrown around here).
Not only did I had even less time than the year prior, but I also felt like I needed to change something with my art, as I've grown increasingly unhappy with it.
All the sketches looked way better than the actual finished artwork I believed, to a point were I actively had to force myself to "finish" the typical workflow for some made-up artificial reason like "Well, that's just how it works; First the sketch, now the actual work".

I wanted to get away from this hyper fantasy world, that Fer and Asier came from, in favor of a more medieval and close-to-nature world. It was also a way better contrast to Cole's steampunk themed world.
Her clothing here reflect this shift in tone.
I also decided to make goats a sort of "Holy creature" for her culture. I just generally wanted goats to be part of their aesthetics, to give it more of this Norse mythology vibe.
Lavender flowers got the same "culture" treatment. The purple would make for a good potential triple contrast between her blue/slightly cyan clothes and her yellow eyes and powers.
This focus on lavender also gave a nice hint to their french name, since a french province "Provence" is pretty well known for their huge lavender fields. ...Even tho they're not even the largest exporter of lavender flowers, that title goes to Bulgaria.

Siege from Arknights.
I made this fanart about a week or two after trying Arknights.
Pretty sure I also never actually finished fanart before that. On DeviantArt I usually write in the description "Art and character by: Synoh", but it's just copy-pasted from the previous posts. I forgot to change that for this post. About a month passed before I catch that error.     :´)I generally became more aware of other gatcha games like Arknights and Honkai Impact around this time. Until then, I only ever knew about and played Girl's Frontline and Azur Lane.Earlier that year, Youtube recommended me a trailer for Arknights, probably because the algorithm knows that I love Starset's music. To hear Starset in anime themed content felt a bit unreal to be honest. I've also started to see lots of fanart of Siege, thought she was hot, and those two factors made me try Arknights for myself. I had a pretty bad fever and was basically chained to my bed, so I didn't had anything else to do than play mobile games anyway.     :)It surprised me a lot, just how similar the plot was to what I planned for the Adoris' Theory series. With all the rock cancer, rock superpowers, rock supremacists, rock devastation, ...rock etc.
I'd be lying if I said, that it didn't somewhat discourage me. I became quite anxious about my work, since I was afraid it would be reduced to "just a copy-cat".

2020-03-06

I grew increasingly frustrated with my style. I believed that my sketches looked way better than my actual finished artworks, to a point where I just didn't want to finish my drawings anymore and instead put extra time into coloring my sketches, so I did just that.
There are still other artworks that are "finished", but generally I only had fun doing sketches at that point.

A finished artwork with Ader.
I was playing around with the idea of creating a patreon and wanted a nice header for it.
This was inspired by this artwork, made by the artist hen-tie. An artwork featured in Cepheid's music video 'Goddess'. I really loved this song!     :D

2020's birthday artwork for Melissa and Larissa.
I wanted to do different traditional stuff, so I played a bit with a cheap watercolor set.

2020-08-10

I made several attempt at making a "banner artwork" for the Adoris' Theory series, none of which I was truly happy about.

I saved up a bit and bought an Android tablet.     :)
I got a Samsung tablet and played around with the free trial of the new Android version of Clip Studio Paint, that came with the purchased device. Once I found out, that the Android version costs monthly, I was already wondering about what alternatives to use.
You get two copies per license when purchasing Clip Studio Paint, but at that time I was only using one of these and thought it was extremely unfair, that I can't use the other copy for the android version. It worked really well tho. Probably the best alternative Android has to Procreate, but given the extra monthly costs I would pass on it once the six month free trial was over.

Even midway of doing this, I absolutely wasn't happy with this drawing. The faces looked weird, everyone only had their base colors.
But I still finished it. This was my fifth attempt at a banner artwork and I wanted at least one finished that I could show off.
This is also the first artwork that actually has the title of the series: 'Adoris' Theory'.
This font was actually self made, with inspiration of several other stencil typesets. I liked the extreme change in thickness.

A school project. The "fire" effect was heavily inspired by the second season of Mob Psycho 100. Specifically episode 5, which was directed, storyboarded and key animated by Go Hakuyu.

2019

This year was filled mostly with sketches, since I didn't had a lot of spare time during this year. It did led to me doing more with traditional art tho.     :)A lot of sketches were made this year, as I still were under the believe that I need to have something to show daily. I thankfully stopped this mentality during this year, as I could feel how it's just helping to develop burnout.

Redesign of Ader. She also received clothes now, in a style that should be close enough to Reine.

Reine's throne room. Her hair was way less messier before arriving at The Commune.

The UN proposed ideas around that time, to illegalize loli content, which in practice would definitely have been something like "anime girl, so therefore it must be loli and in turn be a literal child". I'd completely bet on this.So as a meme, I turned the UN into a loli, so they had to ban themselves. The "hypocrite" part references all the sexual abuse allegations the UN were accused of themselves, abuse to real children and real women in third world countries done by official UN "peacekeepers".
Like running child sex rings or strengthening the human trafficking industry, and all that while giving the absolute bare minimum -if any- punishment, sometimes even punishing the people who reported the child abuse crimes instead.
To my own surprise, compared to literally anything else I ever did at this point, this kinda blew up. This was the first drawing of mine I've ever seen being shared around and reposted. This honestly flattered me a lot.

2019-02-22-2

The reaction and responses to the original UN-Chan meme were very positive. It made me want to draw a bit more of her. It sadly never got even near the same traction the original did.She also got an olive wreath around her head now. This was an idea by the Reddit user u/Kotoy77 made in a comment.
I liked the idea, so I adopted it.     :)

Gave traditional drawing a try, since I had a lot less time to spend at home. At first I used a generic ballpoint pen. It took a bit to get used to it, especially without the use of ctrl+z. For the first few drawings, my finger twitched a lot because I have the buttons on my pen set to undo and eraser.

2019-03-23

"The terminal king" is what I called her.If your initium infection "goes terminal" you'd become a mindless husk. Basically a rock zombie. So what about a "mind control" ability that could turn terminals into someone's army?

2019-04-09

An image for a "offline screen" on twitch.I wasn't sure how sensitive Twitch's ToS were, so Larissa got her shirt back, just to be sure....Literally 1984.     >:(I also created this 'Atom Cola' brand. Just like Fallout got their 'Nuka-Cola' beverage, I wanted a similar knock-off cola brand for my series, since I personally drink a lot of cola.

A new, small notebook, one without a grid. But I still had problems with the small A5 Format.

2019-06-01

A small animation for my streams, so there's always a bit of movement in them. ...Turns out I didn't need to put effort in this, I just could have used subway surfer. /s

2019-06-10

An unfinished set of emotes.
Pretty much all of them were inspired by popular emotes on several discord servers I regularly interacted with at that time.

2019-07-21

2019's birthday artwork for Larissa and Melissa. It's pretty interesting to see, how their fur gets dialed down bit by bit for each drawing.
I honestly started to dislike it a bit, at least on Melissa. It still fits Larissa quite nicely tho.

2019-07-25-1

Big sketchbook now!     :)
A bit larger than A4. It was a lot easier to draw on this than the smaller A5 notebook I used prior.
Also now with these Sakura Pigma Micron. They were, according to basically every reviewer, the best ink pens on the market.
To be honest I didn't really liked the pens. The ink was indeed amazing! Clean darks, no ink bleed-through...
But the pen barrels themself felt like they were made from cheap, slippery plastic. The small. textured section didn't quite help too. I would still very much recommend them.

Character Sheet for Reine. One that would actually be finished, but that wouldn't matter, since I replaced that design with a new new new new one.The biggest problem I had was realizing that, if I were to create a webcomic, once a character design was established, it had to be drawn potentially hundreds -if not thousands- of times over.
While I do still like this design -even though it wouldn't make sense, given the changes I did to her and Asier's homeworld- it would just not be feasible for a potential webcomic.

2019-10-31

Halloween artwork.
When it comes to low environmental lighting, I was still lacking much experience with it.

2019-11-05

A witch character design for a school assignment. Sadly the finished artwork got corrupted, this sketch is all that's left. Never be an idiot like me who trusts a simple USB stick with all their school projects. It's quite sad, I actually kinda liked it.

2019-11-24

Cybertruck-chan.     :)I wanted to meme a bit about Tesla's Cybertruck showcase. I thought it would be funny to make a personification of the car. Never finished it tho. The timeframe in which this would have been funny, is also long gone.

2019-11-26

Graphite pen drawings now.     :)

2019-12-13

Another animation for my streams. This time with Melissa drawing. It fitted the content of the streams more.I actually forgot to draw the tail at first.

2019-12-16-1

Okay, so hear me out. I saw a pretty common tablecloth with a weird pattern on it. It was kind of crumpled-up and I --somehow-- saw this exact pose in it.
Thank you evolution, for giving us a pattern seeking brain.     😌🙏

2019-12-16-2

Some sort of death god.Sometimes I fantasized about how I would draw personified concepts like life and death."Life" would be a very rough person, one that would constantly push you to your limits while allowing you breaks every now and then, and showcasing you the happiness life can give you. Basically a very energized and ambitious gym coach."Death" would be a calm and kind person, just granting everyone equally a place to rest. Sort of a "I guide people to treasures I can not possess" type. This divergence from the usual depictions of these concepts is interesting, I think, but I'm a bit afraid of potential misinterpretations of them. I would try to make it clear, that both want the best for everyone in the end. If you were to misread this portrayal of "Life" as a "bad, abusive person" and "Death" correctly as a "caring, loving person", your interpretation would probably be, that that's an attempt at romanticizing death. I'm a bit worried about such misconceptions.

The thought of supporting myself with drawing and writing developed pretty strongly this year, this made me push out a lot more content throughout this year, including publishing the sketches separately and even making quick chibi artworks, in order to get something out daily.Sadly, despite the wish to learn and pursue this field professionally, this would also be the last productive year for a while.

The last artwork I uploaded on my Facebook, before I left that platform for good. There's an alternative "less lewd" version for this artwork, one that shows less cleavage. A lot of my family members followed me on Facebook and I was kinda afraid of any weird rumors going around.
Maybe I was just overreacting.

2018-01-15

I thought more about this Element 205 infectious crystal decease and how it should affect people.
Those crystal monsters would be result of the "Terminal" stage and would become mindless slaves to be controlled by Reine.
Yeah, at that time I wasn't sure whether or not I was even writing about the good guys anymore.I still think that the design of those crystal monsters are pretty cool tho. There were 2 yellow glowing eyes, that could travel throughout the entire body though those white crystal parts. Basically giving them a 360° field of view.
The skull parts were inspired by the Ice wraiths from Skyrim.

2018-01-18

It feels weirdly uncanny to see Larissa like this, since her character is now basically a 180° of how it's shown here. Also, there's an alternative "background image" version of it, to be used for my Pixiv profile. That was way back when Pixiv allowed you to have a page long profile background images, instead of just a simple banner like all other platforms seem to have now.It does sadden me quite a lot, that all platforms slowly got rid of large profile customization, in favor of a boring unified look. Especially on art portfolio sites like Pixiv and DeviantArt, who's entire point it is to express oneself.

2018-01-22

I played a lot of PUBG with friends around that time. It was also generally really popular so I made art of Larissa and Melissa with PUBG gear.

2018-01-28-2

This era of my art I like to call "the glow dodge hell", because I really overdid it with this excessive use of blending modes, to the decrement of the overall quality. Everything looks glossy as if they've bathed in oil.I didn't understood the level of reflection different materials and surfaces should have.

2018-01-28-3

Originally the drawing was to showcase the redesign of Reine, it wouldn't last long tho.
There was an attempt to make her design look more "outworldly". This was the time where I wanted Reine to be the victim of a reverse-isekai plot. Her homeworld was a lot more high-fantasy too.

2018-02-01

The first attempt of a character profile for Larissa was about a month prior to this, but I wanted to change her default outfit so I just did a completely new one. The information on this profile were just copy-pasted from the first one.The greatest inspired for layout was by how the artist Hyanna-Natsu did her character profiles. The information on this sheet are still mostly correct, with notable exceptions being her height, which I now figure would be around 170-175 cm. Her age is also lower than stated in this profile... I'll keep the actual age a secret tho. ;)
....Also no, she doesn't actually like videogames anymore, that is now exclusively Melissa's thing.

2018-02-07-1

Asier was not actually planned during this time, so the purpose she had for Adoris' Theory series was originally for Reine/Fer.

2018-02-07-2

For some reason I wanted to segregate what content I upload on what platform. Those chibi artworks were only uploaded on my Instagram and were supposed to be a sort of "daily dose of cuteness" featuring Melissa and Larissa. After about a week I stopped those daily chibi uploads. I felt how I stopped enjoying drawing these after essentially treating it like an obligation, instead of something I do for fun.

2018-02-12

A character that was supposed to be an antagonistic force for the story.
Her ability was to cancel other people's abilities. She was supposed to be some "Big bad shadow government secret weapon" kind of thing.
Her skin is transparent because I thought it looked cool and gave her a more "artificial" look. It was quite a pain in the ass to draw tho.

2018-02-13

'University Institute' would eventually become 'Kamille Insitute'.Back then I named things and groups based on how cool it sounded, not on actual meaning.

2018-02-14

One of few titles that Adoris' Theory was supposed to have. The "LillaF" was supposed to be like an overhead title to make several series under that name. That was mostly inspired by Pixiv Fantasia and how they handled titles. It had no real meaning and was just supposed to sound cool.

2018-02-15-1

First real cover image of 'Crown's Atonement'. Much like what the story became today, it would play in a fantasy world. Back then it was focused on Sci-fi rather than steampunk tho.

2018-02-18

At this point, I thought more about the setting. At first I wanted a Sci-fi setting, but while this would eventually change, something that stayed consistent was the "ruined state" the world would be in, due to a power granting infection.

2018-02-22

Larissa's new clothes.
The overly glossy reflections are also no more. I generally tried to turn the use of blending modes down a notch, as I've started to rely way too much on those.

2018-02-25

I thought more about how to make Larissa and Melissa more unique. To do that, the ears were now on the side, instead of the top, and fur was added on their hands and legs.
I did kinda like that. It gave the characters more of a werewolf feel.

2018-03-02

Fanart of the No Game No Life 0 movie. This is also the first artwork that has a date based naming scheme, so every other artwork from here on out should have the correct creation date as the title.

2018-03-22

I wanted to create a one-fits-all fantasy world that my stories can take place in.
It was the main planet in the center, orbited by a moon, which itself was orbited by another moon. And all this in a "broken fishbowl", with the hole shining light through and acting as the sun.
....Yes I was very deep into the Elder Scrolls lore.
This hole would also act as a "portal" from Fer's world to Cole's and vice versa.Something I never liked in other fantasy stories was thinking about it's universe, not just the specific planet it takes place on. It made the stories, its conflicts and dramas, feel somewhat "unimportant" in the greater scope.
Even back then I knew, that this was a very irrational chain of thoughts and borderline nihilistic, but it still made me want to establish that nothing other than those two world exists.

2018-04-09

At that point, the idea of the "pure element 205 gem" amulet was completely out of the main story, but I still wanted to do something with the idea of a power granting amulet. So here comes this character named 'Katrina', a derivative from the name 'Katherine'.The story would surround this amulet, which was essentially a soul gem hosting probably the most powerful dragon to ever exist. The girl, Katrina, would somehow be required to put on this amulet, granting her a portion of the power this dragon once had. It would eventually, however, give the dragon the ability to slowly take over her body and change her physical appearance over time.Since the dragon hated humans, due to them taking over their land and claiming it as their own, Katrina would sadly enter an abusive relationship with this dragon.

2018-05-05

Unfinished drawing of Reine and an early design of Cole. Unlike today's Cole, here he actually had abilities, which were heavily inspired by the Prototype games. ...At least he has his turtleneck shirt still.
His jacket had detachable sleeves so they don't get ripped if he ever used his transformation abilities. I was really proud of this idea for some reason.

2018-05-12

Another design change.
I experimented a bit by drawing on only 1-2 layers. One layered art styles have blending possibilities that I really liked, and while I would experiment and try it out myself every now and then, I would never really commit to it until several years later.

2018-05-18-2

Artwork to showcase Reine's new, new, new character design.

2018-06-11

I dropped the idea with transparent skin and decided to turn her into a cyborg. It showcased her backstory better.... and also made it far easier to draw her.You can actually see the "skyscraper-sized crystal structures" made out of initium. As far as I'm concerned, that's the first artwork that showcases how this "weird new element" affected the world.
The way initium would "take over" the world was also inspired by tiberium from the Command & Conquer series. Another game I loved playing as a kid, that gave me huge inspirations for this was Spider-Man: Web of Shadows.
I loved how the world itself was treated like an infected being in those games, and I wanted to do something similar.

2018-07-03

Me and a friend of mine played 'Girls' Frontline'. We didn't really know what gatcha games were at that time and it was pretty much our first exposure to it, but we still joked about making a gatcha game of our own.We named it "Appetite Girls" and the characters were supposed to be personified dishes. This was the one and only character ever done for this joke project, 'Currywurst'.I also started a small war in my friend group over it, because there's apparently a big debate between north and south Germany on how to best serve curry sausage,

2018-07-21

Birthday image for Larissa and Melissa.I just took the date of the first ever artwork featuring them and made that their birthday.

2018-08-01

The first drawing that showcases Asier. I think I gave her the name "Raniesha" at first, before eventually being renamed "Asier".
I don't remember the meaning behind the name "Raniesha". Pretty sure it was word "princess" in a middle eastern language.
And yes, at that time the three protagonists were named "Reine", "Roi" and "Raniesha". It is actually a big no-go to give names that start with the same letter to different protagonists, since it will lead to confusion and will make characters feel a lot more uninspired. ...And I did it with all of them!

2018-08-07

Yes.... Another attempt of making a body pillow cover.... And it's not even the last!     :D

2018-09-02

She now has mechanical arms and legs. It fitted a lot more with the theme she was planned in.I also started to export the "base work" or sketches of my drawings, just to have more content that could be upload on different platforms. Those sketches would be uploaded primarily to Instagram and Pixiv Sketch.

2018-09-18

Another cover, now with a newer Title.I got rid of gothic font from the previous title "Crown's Atonement" in favor of a clean serif font.

2018-10-09

First artwork of Ader.

2018-10-30

The mechanical limps actually made it way a lot easier to draw her, than with the transparent skin and her skeleton showing through it.
Also she now has a gun now! A somewhat more futuristic looking HK G36, which is still my favorite firearm.     :)

2018-11-06

The official Girl's Frontline discord server opened an "Artist corner". I was interested in it and made this quick sketch, since other artists also introduced themselves with a quick art showcase there. At first I was a bit hesitant, since it wasn't made clear whether it's exclusively for Girl's Frontline fanartists or not. I haven't played Girl's Frontline for a long time when they opened this channel, instead I got a bit into Azur Lane, but they seemed pretty okay with original content or other IPs.

2018-12-17-2

The first request I ever got and did.I started streaming on the artist focused platform Picarto.tv. My first and only watcher and follower there, requested me to draw this. They wanted a fat catgirl in lab coat, with fur similar to how I drew my characters.
I actually did draw that sketch. I was probably just a bit excited to actually have my first request. Would have loved if it were a different theme, but oh well.
After I send them this artwork, they told me something of the line of "Since we are friends now, I can get more free drawings from you, no?".I just continued to stream on twitch after that.

2018-12-30

An antagonist for Fer.She didn't had a name at the time, actually I didn't even really knew what her story would be. Essentially all I had in mind for her was her fighting style.I wanted to give her a heavy and oversized zweihänder. Swinging a big sword that's heavier than oneself would make you fly around, being dragged by it's sheer weight. I just thought how cool and unique this fighting style would be and wanted to make a character that utilizes this kind of style.

2018

2017

The year, where I actually get some stuff finished.Throughout this year I also slowly got rid of my linework in favor of a lineless style. This was also the year, in which I created Larissa and Melissa, to have some sort of mascot characters that I can draw for some diversion from the more serious tone of the webcomic I was planning out.
That webcomic would very slowly develop over the years and eventually become my Ship of Theseus that is 'Adoris' Theory'.

This was my first attempt on a natural background. I had absolutely no idea how to even start. It was still snowy around this time, so at some point I went out with a camera and made several photos of local streets to get a few good references.

2017-03-24

A drawing that would be used as an avatar. I think it was used as such for about eight months.I did kinda like it so I would do a small revision of it a few months afterwards.

2017-05-04

Roi was supposed to always carry around those vials with liquidized Element 205.I also played around with the idea of changing eye colors, depending on the infection stage someone has. Yellow was the strongest, simply because I thought yellow eyes looked cool.
Thinking back at it, the "eye color to power scale" was identical to a typical videogame loot rarity.

2017-05-11

Roi and Reine after being thrown out of a window and clinging onto the window frame. What was planned was to draw this top-down view onto a street. This was a bit more ambitious and too out of my comfort-zone at that time, that I just left it unfinished.Sometimes I wish I was more ready to leave this comfort-zone back then and didn't just gave up when something was harder than I thought or just too inconvenient.     :(
Would probably have saved me the time catching up.

2017-05-22

Unfinished drawing of Reine in a field of sunflowers. If I remember correctly, a few of these sunflowers were actually finished, even if it was tedious. But eventually my PC crashed and all the progress on those flowers were lost.
...No I didn't knew about the autosave feature of Clip Studio Paint back then. :(

2017-05-23

Another attempt of making a body pillow of Reine.

2017-07-09

At that point I wanted her to be a way more serious, instead of just a typical cute, emotional support character that was pretty common for female sidekicks. She and the Roi had pretty much the same abilities. It was supposed to be some kind of "creation" power; Creating something out of liquefied Element 205.

2017-07-21

It felt tiring to draw these rather serious characters. So here are new characters that I can draw more lighthearted and even in NSFW situations, without feeling bad in case I decided to kill off a story focused character. Both of their design were inspired by British Shorthair cats and German Shepard Dogs respectively. They were given the name Larissa and Melissa, since I wanted names that sounded VERY similar just to undermine how close they are....Yes, I originally wanted to draw Larissa always naked, with only her jacked to cover her up. I did upload my work on Facebook at that time and basically half my family was following me there, so I got rid of my horny impulses... somewhat. <.<

2017-08-04

I liked Catbug from Bravest Warriors and, since I now had a Catgirl OC, I wanted to draw a reference to it.

2017-08-30

Now his eyes are completely yellow. This is also the last finished drawing with Roi. While Roi is basically the pre-alpha version of Cole, they are so different that this drawing feels like the end of this character.

2017-09-16

First finished drawing with Melissa and Larissa. I was actually extremely proud of this piece.
I also have absolutely no idea what happened here, It looked way better than anything else I made for the next few years.
This piece is also the first step towards the "lineless" artstyle I got accustomed to. I thought how much of a pain in the ass it would be to line out Larissa's messy hair, so I just didn't,

2017-09-20

Originally, this artwork was supposed to showcase Roi's power. He was supposed to pull out a sword, made entirely out of element 205, out of one of the vials he constantly carries around.

2017-10-07

She's fit.     :)

2017-10-24

Apparently this was made around October?
Bro why tf she wearing a Christmas hat iT'S FALL!

2017-11-02

Larissa got her own art, so it was only fair for Melissa to get her's too.

2017-11-05

This pure white character design was kinda boring, so she got a bit more black.

2017-11-25

I tried to redo my workflow and get rid of the lineart altogether.

2017-12-08

An artwork of Reine, similar to the one that was made several months earlier. To be honest, I much preferred the older one over this. Most likely it's because with the "lineless" artstyle I should have made use of darker shading, but I simply didn't. For every base color I only used two lighter and darker shading tones at most.

2017-12-10

On my way home, I saw a poster advertisement for an insurance company that had an image on it with a similar composition. Two people looking at each other submerged. I liked this so much that I drew something similar....Looking back at it, I hope it wasn't a life insurance company.

2017-12-15

While it is hart to see, since I was still too afraid of using "too dark" tones for shading, Larissa is wearing a ponytail here.I made it a point afterwards, that Larissa is never going to wear a ponytail again. Not because I didn't liked it (I honestly didn't, to be honest), but because I thought it interfered with this "wildness" and "untamable" feel of her character.
That was my reasoning in 2017-2018 tho. Who knows, maybe I'll draw Larissa with a ponytail again. I have become a lot more okay with it.

2017-12-24

Christmas artwork.
My school's computing lessons at that time also wanted us to make "Christmas greeting card" in Word. I thought I could use this as a cover art for it.

2017-12-29

There was a weird obsession I had with time displays always making up 2:05 o'clock, as a reference to Element 205.It actually went so far that I only uploaded my art on Pixiv at exactly 18:05 o'clock CEST, because that's 2:05 in Japan and Pixiv only showcased upload date and time in JST back then.
If that exact upload time was ever missed, I would just upload it the next day instead. I would only do this for artworks of Reine tho.
While I say it's weird, I would still totally do that today.

2017-12-30-1

A new pair of characters.
I had the idea for them even before Reine and all that Element 205 stuff.
The idea was about a shapeshifter with multiple personality disorder. The shapeshifter would always either be a boy, who handles close combat with a katana or knife, or a girl who fights long distance with guns.
They would be able to switch instantly, to make some cool dynamic fight scenes.

2017-12-30-2

There was an attempt at making a commemoration piece for Capalti's version of Doctor Who. I stopped after realizing that I can't draw realistic faces and that it just looks way too cursed. Also, uploading this to this archive made me realize just how old series 10 is. I feel ancient now.

2017

2016

The earliest images I did under my Synoh-nym... ....Yes I actually don't regret this name, to my surprise.Every piece, except one, I have of this year was left unfinished, but they still portrayed characters from a story I tired to write around this time.I just got my first graphic tablet this year, an Wacom Intuos Pro, as well as a copy of Manga Studio (The predecessor to Clips Studio Paint) that my dad had lying around.I wish I had records of older traditional drawings I did. There are digital drawings I still have from as far back as 2012, but those are primarily just traced from other people's work. That was back when I only had mouse and keyboard.
Once I stumble across some of my very old drawings I'll add an earlier folder and add them to this archive.

Having a watermark with a logo would be really cool I thought. The logo itself was inspired by this "Shutdown" icon that Add from Elsword had. Back then I was really into these cool, edgy, power-fantasy characters, like Accelerator from the To Aru series or Izaya from Durarara!!.

2016-09-28

I have no idea why I wanted to make a body pillow of my character this badly. I must have instantly forgotten it too, since I never finished it.

2016-10-05

Pretty much the first drawing of those two -who would later become Cole and Fer- together. At first I gave them both the name "Reine" and "Roi", as in the french words for "Queen" and "King".
The name change comes several years later.

2016-10-12

I thought atoms looked cool. I had no direct idea what Roi's powers should be, basically just "Yeah he can do stuff with this 'mystery element'.".

2016-10-17-1

I remember I did some flower language research for this, because I thought that would automatically mean that it's a deep image.
The text on the image reads "I'm going to become a flower lexicon at this point". Don't know why tho, pretty sure I just did less than the bare minimum of research, like only two google searches or so.
It also never occurred to me that the meaning of flowers may be depending on countries, rather than any international meaning.

2016-10-17-2

There are several ideas from way back then that actually still find use even today. Namely this concept of some weird "crystal cancer" as payment for supernatural powers. Or a gem that actually grands these powers in the form of an amulet.

I always wanted to write a story where the driving force is a gem, stone or a rock. That idea was inspired by Call of Duty: Zombies and its hidden easter egg story. The idea of catastrophes brought on by a simple object you can't attribute personal traits to really intrigued me. I also loved this concept in Command & Conquer with its tiberium.I also wanted to be a bit more "Scientific" with the story, so I just gave it a ridiculous high periodic number: Element 205. Without knowing the first thing about chemistry too.

I'm VERY sure that this is the actual first digital art I ever started. Just before that, my parents got me a Wacom Intuos Pro. My father also gave me an old copy of "Manga Studio" he owned, which was just the name for the physical copies of Clip Studio Paint.I wanted to start of with something that I would love to use as a desktop background. But I heavily referenced the background I had at that time, which was a promotional artwork of Hyperdimension Neptunia, drawn by the artist Tsunako. ...Pretty sure I even traced the hands because I was frustrated with them.Guess I never finished it, because why make a new desktop background if you already have the exact one you wanted?

An image to show the personalities I had in mind for those characters.Reine, sweet and cute.
And Roi, serious and edgy.
...Yeah, they were anything but deep at that time.

Essentially the first artwork I truly finished with my graphic tablet.Every "finished" digital work before 2016 was solely done with mouse.
Sometimes I would draw something traditionally, scan it, and trace over it with mouse to have a "digital artwork".

Typical case of "cutely hide the hands behind the back" pose for an excuse to not draw hands. All while clearly forgetting that I couldn't do something similar with her feet. This was supposed to be a reference sheet, with color palette, multiple expressions, etc.
